Tutorial - Basics

ToolPal is structured in the modules planning, tool flow on the Shop floor and tool-Supply chain.

       


» The shop floor is represented with the help of an integrated Data model. The focal data object is the manufacturing process.

» Objects that are administered by ToolPal have a storage location assigned to and are represented with Index card.
   All other objects (work piece, process or manufacturing job, machine) are displayed in
PPR- (Product-Process-Resource) Page layout.

» The User Interface is layed out in way that each screen that displays data objects may be used for data entry as well and vice versa.

» Drag&Drop transactions are supported, graphically assisted by a user-defined Plant layout.

» The foundation of ToolPal is the the tool database of ToolsUnited; an unsurpassed advantage for the first time Set-up
   of your ToolPal as well as for the daily business.

» The Report-Generator helps to create form sheets (tool lists, tool layouts,…) as well as consumption reports, inventory statistics and other "shop floor papers".

» To integrate ToolPal with othe shop floor software the CS-Box needs to be configured if no Standard interfaces are available.
